The Manchester Central Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre is located on Upper Park Road, in Victoria Park Manchester.  Work began on building the mosque in 1971 on the site of two former houses.  Judging by the location, the houses were probably the ones called "Gartness" and "West View".  Over the years the building has gone through a number of expansions and modifications.
