Though not strictly part of Belle
Vue, the American style 32 lane bowling alley was built on land
reclaimed when the Great Lake was drained. It had been a project in the
works for some time but it was following the take-over of the park by
Charles Forte that the Belle Vue Granada Bowl was finally built. The
bowling alley was constructed on the Hyde Road side of what was the
lake and it was separated from Belle Vue by a high fence. ![]()
