Roy Thurnham who
donated the photograph on the left, says
"Charlie Gee. He was my
woodwork teacher at Stanley Grove. He'd played for Everton in the 40's along with "Dixie" Dean. He
played one game for
England at No.5 (the old centre half). He
was a "scout" for Man. City which led
to my playing there. He'd be getting on in
years if still alive. Anybody out
there know?"
