The Longsight Tavern

The Longsight Tavern was a Boddington's pub.  It sat on Stockport Road not far from the Church Inn.

I don't have an image of the Longsight Tavern but if you click on the link below you can see a photograph of it in the image collection at Manchester Central Library.

The image below shows the site in 2009.  As you can see the Church Inn is still there (far left), although converted into a carpet shop, but a bookies sits where the Longsight Tavern was.
